ROBIN PERLMUTTER — Managing Director of TYMTC, Music Dept.
A co-founder of TYMTC, a musician and educator for over 25 years, Robin is a passionate advocate for children actively participating in music and the performing arts. Robin has taught band, choir and general music in the public school system in addition to being a private piano teacher and vocal coach. Credits include: co-directing a children’s choir that was chosen to perform in Livent’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond at the Elgin Theatre, vocal coach/accompanist for Stagedoor School’s production of Les Miserables (School Edition) at the Hummingbird Centre and Isabel Bader Theatre, vocal coach for Dance Fusion at the Elgin Theatre, music director for City of Vaughan’s Summer Music Theatre Camp for Adults at the Vaughan City Playhouse, rehearsal and show pianist for various community theatre groups, including Etobicoke Music Productions and Scarborough Music Theatre. Robin has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.
