This show was wonderful! My daughter loved every minute of every rehearsal; the kids shared a camaraderie, and their love for musical theatre transcended age or background. I was astounded at the quality of the production - the singing, the acting, the dancing - the absolute passion of each and every cast member - Bravo! The coaches and director took these kids beyond what I could ever have imagined - and they loved every step of the journey! My daughter can’t wait for the fall when the program will start up again! This is an extra curricular program the likes of which my daughter and I have never experienced - utterly fantastic!

As a parent of a young lady who loves the performing arts, I have done extensive research to try to find a program that would fulfill her and professionally train her in the many avenues that she wished to pursue. The Toronto Youth Music Theatre Company topped my list and we were very excited to have our daughter accepted into the program. We live in Barrie, Ontario and each week that we came to the school we were more impressed with the professionalism and extremely high caliber of teaching. This group of people really CARE about the kids and are determined to help each one fully reach their potential. My daughter, who has had many years of training in certain areas, grew and was very blessed by the expertise and genuineness of the teachers. I was brought to tears, along with many other parents and audience members, by the quality and sincerity of the performances of these kids. I love everything that comes with TYMTC: friendships, atmosphere, the hard work, constantly improving yourself, and most of all, the smile that’s on my face at every rehearsal and show. This company did all of that for me and more! I will be attending Sheridan College next fall for Music Theatre Performance. The faculty of this company helped infuse my passion for music theatre. I often found myself asking these professionals for advice or pointers, and they were always there to send me in the right direction. They not only helped everything come together with “The Music Man”, they helped me take the biggest step of my life - finding the confidence to be something great. If you look back from last September at every person in this company, and compare them to themselves now, you wouldn’t recognize them. This group of six professionals helped mold a group of thirty strangers into a family, and gave every person a newfound confidence and passion for musical theatre performance.
